Apartments Susnik are located in the very center of Bled, in walking distance to the shopping center, grocery store, banks and several bars and restaurants. Its secluded location just far enough from the action, enclosed in a residential area, makes it a wonderful yet quiet and peaceful place to stay during your visit to Bled.

With just meters to the lake you can enjoy a morning run or walk around the lake (the route is 6 kilometers). If you’re here for a business conference it’s probably taking place in hotels Golf, Kompas or Park, which are all within a few minutes walk from the house.

If you’re visiting in winter, the Straza skiing slope is also just around the corner and you’ll be there quicker by foot than by car. In summer Straza is also wonderful for a hike through the woods and recently they’ve put a monorail sled down the skiing slope, so you can get your adrenaline levels high.

The hotels nearby the Susnik Apartments offer a variety of activities including tennis, squash, spa treatments, massages, indoor pools… Plenty of ways to relax and indulge.

Apartments Janjusevic are located in the village of Ribno, which is just 2 kilometers or less than a 5 minute drive out of the center ob Bled. This quiet village surrounded by woods and meadows is a wonderful place to rest and enjoy your vacation. It is an ideal starting place for hikes to the neighboring hills and into the woods, as well as a convenient place to stay while fly-fishing on Sava Bohinjka.

There is a grocery store and restaurants near by, as well as a hotel, which offers sporting activities such as tennis and beach-volley. All other attractions and possibilities that Bled has to offer are just minutes away, so you won’t miss out on anything.

Bled as a start to your Slovenian explorations

Bled’s general location is a convenient starting place to visit other Slovenian attractions as well. The Pokljuka plane (also know for winter biathlon world-cup competition) and Vintgar gorge are about 10 kilometers away. A visit to the ski resort Kranjska Gora, with it’s world-cup skiing slope, or further to Planica, which is the home of all modern ski-jump world records, will both take you about an hour.

The capitol Ljubljana is just a good 30 minute drive away, and if you want to catch some sun on the coast of the Adriatic sea, picturesque towns like Piran and Portoroz are about 2 hours by car. The wonderful wine countries of Goriska brda (Slovenian side of the Italian Collio) are also just 2 hours away.
